United Ways Chennai and CTS MEPZ
DATE: on 28th June 2018
United Way Chennai invited HeART BEAT Foundation and it's artist for an inspiring interaction, showcase of works of art of the 'Never Say Die Art n Artists' at Cognizant Mepz campus on 28th June.
Nearly 25 teammates participated. The event began with a painting activity where 10 artists of CTS tried to paint with their 'feet'!! That was enough for participants to stay sensitized on disability... The event created an impact.... The United Ways team appreciated HBF efforts and wrote:
"On behalf of UWC, I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to HeARTbeat Foundation for bringing your artists and showcasing their abilities to inspire corporate employees at CTS, as part of United Way's Day Of Action held on 28th June 2018 . The entire session with the presentation and the short films was deeply touching and gave a great insight into the 'never say die' attitude of your artists. The most memorable moment for me personally, was when Mr.Narasimhulu pointed out in a personal conversation with one of the employees that the current generation is wasting time on the cellphones and he insisted that we make best use of time instead and his confident remark of 'no inspiration'! The interesting painting competition for the employees boosted up the mood of the session immensely. Through the session, your artists have truly helped us in changing perceptions around people with disabilities, by demonstrating their abilities in the best way! We look forward to collaborating with you for the cause in future as well! Once again, thank you from all of us at UWC! "
